University results

For those of you who haven’t read the “about us” section, I’m an engineering student at the University of Cape Town, SA. I received my first year results this week, and here they are:

African Studies:: 60%
Technical Drawing:: 71%
Computer Science (Java programming):: 90%
MATLAB:: 96% (Class medal)
Mathematics:: 95%
Physics:: 92%
Engineering1 (power+electronics):: 100% (equaling class medal)

    what is African Studies and what does it have to do with Engineering?

    I’m guessing that African Studies is one of those courses you have to take and pass to obtain enough credits for your first year of university. I had a similar scenario, except I ended up doing Astronomy, which was actually rather interesting :).

    But those are frickin’ awesome results, whichever way you look at it. Congrats!
